We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This refund policy explains when and how you can request a refund for your eSIM data plan.

Eligibility for Refund

Simcardo provides refunds for unused eSIM purchases within 14 days in accordance with global consumer protection standards and Google Merchant policies.

Unused eSIM Plans

You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • The eSIM has not been installed or activated on any device
  • The request is made within 14 days of purchase
  • The QR code or activation code has not been accessed or used

Activated eSIM Plans

Once an eSIM has been installed or activated, refund eligibility depends on specific circumstances. We evaluate each request individually and may consider refunds in the following cases:

  • Technical issues that prevent the eSIM from working as described
  • Coverage is not available as advertised in the destination country
  • The wrong eSIM plan was delivered due to an error on our part

Important: If technical issues prevent proper usage and support cannot resolve the issue, customers are entitled to a refund or replacement credit.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Your device is not compatible with eSIM technology
  • You are unable to install the eSIM due to device-specific limitations
  • The eSIM plan has expired or the validity period has passed
  • Data has been partially used after activation
  • You changed your travel plans after activation
  • Network speed or performance expectations were not met (network speeds can vary based on local conditions)

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer support team via our contact page
  2. Include your order number and email address used for the purchase
  3. Explain the reason for your refund request
  4. Provide any relevant details or documentation (screenshots of errors, etc.)

Our support team will review your request within 1-2 business days and respond with a decision.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.

Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may offer a partial refund or credit for future purchases. This is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and depends on factors such as the amount of data used, the time elapsed since activation, and the specific circumstances of your situation.

Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Chargebacks can take significantly longer to process than direct refunds, and may result in the suspension of your account. We are committed to resolving any issues fairly and quickly.
