If your Simcardo eSIM isn't connecting to the network, don't worry – most issues are easy to fix. Follow these steps:

Quick Check First

Make sure you're in a country where your eSIM plan has coverage. Check your plan details in your dashboard.

Step 1: Enable Data Roaming

This is the most common fix! Data roaming must be ON:

iPhone:

  1. Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data Options
  2. Turn ON Data Roaming

Android:

  1. Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile Network
  2. Enable Roaming

Step 2: Check eSIM is Active

Make sure your Simcardo eSIM is turned on and set as the data line:

  • Go to Settings → Cellular/Mobile
  • Ensure eSIM line is toggled ON
  • Set it as your Cellular Data line

Step 3: Restart Your Phone

A simple restart often resolves connection issues:

  1. Turn off your phone completely
  2. Wait 30 seconds
  3. Turn it back on
  4. Wait for network registration

Step 4: Manual Network Selection

If automatic doesn't work, try selecting a network manually:

  1. Settings → Cellular → Network Selection
  2. Turn OFF Automatic
  3. Wait for available networks to appear
  4. Select a network from the list

Step 5: Reset Network Settings

Last resort – this will reset all network settings:

  • iPhone: Settings → General → Transfer or Reset → Reset Network Settings
  • Android: Settings → System → Reset Options → Reset WiFi, mobile & Bluetooth

⚠️ Warning: Network reset will forget all WiFi passwords. Make sure you have them saved.
