If your Simcardo eSIM isn't connecting to the network, don't worry – most issues are easy to fix. Follow these steps:
Quick Check First
Make sure you're in a country where your eSIM plan has coverage. Check your plan details in your dashboard.
Step 1: Enable Data Roaming
This is the most common fix! Data roaming must be ON:
iPhone:
- Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data Options
- Turn ON Data Roaming
Android:
- Settings → Network & Internet → Mobile Network
- Enable Roaming
Step 2: Check eSIM is Active
Make sure your Simcardo eSIM is turned on and set as the data line:
- Go to Settings → Cellular/Mobile
- Ensure eSIM line is toggled ON
- Set it as your Cellular Data line
Step 3: Restart Your Phone
A simple restart often resolves connection issues:
- Turn off your phone completely
- Wait 30 seconds
- Turn it back on
- Wait for network registration
Step 4: Manual Network Selection
If automatic doesn't work, try selecting a network manually:
- Settings → Cellular → Network Selection
- Turn OFF Automatic
- Wait for available networks to appear
- Select a network from the list
Step 5: Reset Network Settings
Last resort – this will reset all network settings:
- iPhone: Settings → General → Transfer or Reset → Reset Network Settings
- Android: Settings → System → Reset Options → Reset WiFi, mobile & Bluetooth
⚠️ Warning: Network reset will forget all WiFi passwords. Make sure you have them saved.
